For over 20 years, Dr. McCann has focused exclusively on the treatment of shoulder and elbow problems and is known for providing personalized service to his patients. He is also committed to the education of orthopedic surgeons through his nearly 100 presentations at national professional meetings and over 50 publications. He has been involved in post-graduate education for his entire career and continues to teach in the Shoulder Fellowship program at Beth Israel. As Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, he is most proud of the high quality of care provided by all members of the orthopedic staff at Beth Israel.
Dr. McCann is among New York Magazine's "Best Doctors" for 2011, which is excerpted from Castle Connolly's annual guidebook, "Top Doctors-New York Metro Area." He was also listed in the latest edition of "America's Top Doctors."
