From the doctorDr. Mohanraj earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at The University of Chicago Hospitals and a Chief Medical Residency at The John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. She then pursued her subspecialty training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (NY) in the field of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Mohanraj has a broad range of clinical and procedural expertise in pulmonary and critical care. In addition to the practice of general pulmonary medicine, her main clinical interest is the evaluation of pulmonary nodules and lung cancer screening. She serves as Director of the Pulmonary Nodule Clinic at Mount Sinai St. Luke's. Dr. Mohanraj has a strong dedication to medical education and was named the 2011 Teaching Attending of the Year. Additional interests include protocol-driven practice in outpatient pulmonary medicine, sarcoidosis and pleural diseases.
