From the doctorDr. Lisa Markman is originally from Orange County, California, received her BA in psychology from University of Calfornia Berkeley and attended Columbia University's Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University in Israel, during which she also spent 2 months working at a hospital in rural India. She completed residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY, and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at NYU Langone Medical Center, during which she time she also undertook research on atypical bisphosphonate-related fractures and osteoporosis. Her current clinic focus is Endocrinology.
