|From the doctor||Adelene E. Jann, M.D. is an attending neurologist at St.Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University, and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She has performed research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine focusing on the peripheral mechanisms of pain. Dr. Jann completed her Neurology residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and her Headache Medicine fellowship at The Headache Institute at Roosevelt Hospital Center. She has been awarded the Frontiers in Headache Research Scholarship Award by the American Headache Society. Dr. Jann is board certified in Neurology, and board eligible in Headache Medicine.
Dr. Jann treats a variety of headache disorders including chronic daily headaches, migraine headaches, tension-type headaches, and the trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias such as cluster headaches. She performs nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and Botox administration for chronic headaches. Dr. Jann is a member of the American Headache Society and the American Academy of Neurology.
