From the doctorDr. Andrew Evans joined the Department of Radiation Oncology as an attending at Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt in October, 1999. Dr. Evans completed two radiation oncology research fellowships and has extensive research experience in advanced radiation techniques for lung cancer. He has ongoing research projects as a faculty member of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in affiliation with the department of thoracic surgery, and nuclear medicine. Dr. Evans has won several awards and grants for his research. He is a winner of Young Investigator Awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology; and also from the Radiation Research Society; and is the recipient of the Radiological Society of America Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.
