|From the doctor||Dr. Michael B. Blechman attended medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He received his gastroenterology training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NYC. Dr. Blechman is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (originally in 1999 and recertified in 2009).
He is currently Vice President and practicing partner at Union Square Gastroenterology, P.C. in New York City. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Blechman is a Clinical Instructor at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Bronx, NY. He is an Assistant Attending in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where he devotes time to the fellowship training program. Dr. Blechman is the Assistant Medical Director at East Side Endoscopy, LLC. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Blechman’s clinical areas of interest and expertise include: colonoscopy, endoscopy, acid reflux disorders as well as inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease.
