From the doctorDr. Molofsky joined the faculty at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery (INN) in 1996 where he worked closely with Fred Epstein, M.D., Chief Pediatric Neurosurgery and Alex Berenstein, M.D., Director of the Neurovascular Service at the INN.

Dr. Molofsky currently is the Chief of Pediatric Neurology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Mount Sinai Beth Israel with seven pediatric neurologists, and a pediatric neurology nurse practitioner is one of the largest pediatric neurology services in New York City. The Pediatric Neurology Service at Mount Sinai Beth Israel is a diverse and dynamic division, which includes experts in the field of epilepsy, movement disorders, neurobehavioral disorders, headache, pediatric stroke, autism, and cerebral palsy.

Dr. Molofsky has particular interest in neurovascular disease, (strokes, AVMs) neurobehavioral disorders of children (developmental delay, Autism ,ADD), seizures, muscle disorders and headaches

Dr. Molofsky maintains an active clinical referral practice and has offices in New York City at Mount Sinai Beth Israel’s Phillips Ambulatory Care Center at 10 Union Square East., West Orange, NJ and at ODA Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. He also sees patients with neurovascular disease at Mount Sinai Roosevelt.

Dr. Molofsky is considered an expert in the field of neurovascular disease, neurobehavioral disorders, and general pediatric neurology. He is currently the head of Mount Sinai Beth Israel’s Pediatric Headache Center. He has also developed a neuromuscular program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and has authored numerous papers on neurovascular disease and neurobehavioral disorders in children.
