|From the doctor||There has been tremendous growth in the field of stroke in recent years. Advances in stroke prevention & acute therapy have produced a wide array of therapeutic options.
At the Yarmon Stroke Center, our goal is to improve the quality of care for patients at risk for stroke. We work closely with a referring physician to coordinate all aspects of care. We provide recommendations, manage therapy and monitor compliance and efficacy of the treatment. We have access to the latest in diagnostic testing including vascular ultrasound, MRI, CT, angiography and conventional cerebral angiography.
The Yarmon Stroke Center is an integral part of The Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery (The INN) at Beth Israel Medical Center.
